My husband started to smell really bad… I mean, REEK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made an appointment for him with the urologist and decided to go with him for support. He went into the doctor\u2019s office, and the doctor closed the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five minutes later, the doctor came out and his face turned red when he saw me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doctor<\/strong> (barely holding back laughter): \u201cYou might want to go in and see for yourself.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me:<\/strong> \u201cDoctor, what\u2019s going on? Why are you laughing?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then my husband came out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He:<\/strong> \u201cHoney\u2026 I\u2019m not sure how to say this\u2026 but I\u2014\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I braced myself, half expecting a horrible diagnosis. My stomach twisted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Him (awkwardly):<\/strong> \u201c\u2026I had a piece of garlic stuck\u2026 in a very personal place. For weeks.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My jaw dropped. \u201cWHAT?!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The doctor finally broke into laughter. \u201cIt happens more often than you\u2019d think. Sometimes people use home remedies they read online. Apparently, he thought garlic would \u2018improve circulation.\u2019 Instead, it rotted and started to smell.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He groaned, sinking into his seat. \u201cThat I should NEVER take medical advice from random YouTube videos again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried to hold my laughter, but every time I looked at him, all I could see was the word GARLIC<\/em> flashing over his head like a neon sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we got home, he stormed into the shower, muttering, \u201cThis is going to haunt me forever.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But just when I thought the embarrassment was over, he shouted from the bathroom:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHONEY! There\u2019s ANOTHER one!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I rushed over, panicked. \u201cWhat do you mean another one?!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He held up the shower drain cover, where a second clove of garlic had just slid out. I lost it\u2014I laughed so hard I nearly fell to the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He glared at me, but even he cracked a smile. \u201cGuess I was trying to season myself from the inside out.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From then on, every time we made pasta, I couldn\u2019t resist teasing him: \u201cWant me to save you a clove?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019d groan, \u201cToo soon.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
