The stewardess\u2019s face flushed red as Bob, holding back tears, whispered a shaky, \u201cThank you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When he finally boarded the plane, passengers applauded. One woman even slipped a note into his hand: \u201cYour wife may not be here, but you\u2019re not alone. She lives on through your children\u2014and through your strength.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bob sat down, holding his daughter tightly. And for the first time since his wife\u2019s passing, he felt a glimmer of hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
