The late conservative activist Charlie Kirk\u2019s widow, Erika, delivered on Friday evening her first public comments since her husband was murdered by a far-left activist in Utah earlier this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Erika and the couple\u2019s two young daughters traveled from Salt Lake City, Utah to their home in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday evening. They were accompanied by Vice President JD Vance aboard Air Force Two, who accompanied Kirk\u2019s casket as he returned home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Friday evening, Turning Point USA announced that Erika would be issuing her first public comments since her husband\u2019s assassination. Shortly before 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Erika began speaking from a podium next to Charlie\u2019s chair, from which he broadcasted the \u201cCharlie Kirk Show\u201d every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTwo days ago, my husband went to see the face of his Savior and his God. And one of the final conversations that he had on this earth, my husband witnessed for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now and for all eternity he will wear the glorious crown of a martyr,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Erika went on to thank Vice President Vance and his wife, Usha, for their support of the last several days and beyond. \u201cI want to thank President Trump and his incredible family. Mr. President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him too. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well,\u201d she added while tearing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Erika Kirk went on to reiterate that her husband\u2019s movement was not going anywhere, stating firmly that Turning Point events will continue without delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe evildoers responsible for my husband\u2019s assassination have no idea what they have done. They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of God\u2019s merciful love. They should all know this: if you thought that my husband\u2019s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world,\u201d Kirk declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou have no idea. You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry. Everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die, it won\u2019t,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI refuse to let that happen. It will not die. All of us will refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband\u2019s name, and I will make sure of it. It will become stronger. bolder, louder, and greater than ever. My husband\u2019s mission will not end, not even for a moment.
